But once you past the first 10 seconds, the film is crystal clear like you expect from a bluray movie. The only damage to the film is in the first 10 seconds, in the opening scenes, where there is a lot of snow effect which actually makes you think it is snowing. In the first movie, The Night Stalker, he was in Last Vegas, and now he is in Seattle. This causes him to move from city to city. We are told he has lost his job many times over his crusade for the truth. If the clues point to supernatural elements that are difficult to explain, he is not afraid to take them to their logical and truthful conclusion which often puts him at odds with the authorities, most importantly with his editor, Tony Vincenzo played by veteran actor Simon Oakland. Kolchak is a reporter who is only interested in finding out and reporting the truth.
